Hi 👋🏻, I'm Sanskar

I'm a Site Reliability Engineer focused on platform engineering for infrastructure across on-premises, bare-metal, and multi-cloud environments.

At Obmondo, I work on KubeAid and LinuxAid, operate customer infrastructure across vSphere, AWS, Azure, and Hetzner, and handle day-0, day-1, and day-2 operations using our in-house open-source projects KubeAid and LinuxAid which I am a maintainer of.

During my student days, I have been a part of multiple open-source programs including LFX mentorship, Alibaba Summer of Code, Google Summer of Code, etc, and have contributed to multiple open-source projects like KubeDL, pgRouting, Kubernetes-adjacent projects, and many more either voluntarily or through these programs. What I work on

  • Kubernetes Platforms

    Maintaining Argo CD-based platform called KubeAid and allied tool called kubeaid-cli which uses Cluster API to provision across on-premises, bare-metal, and multi-cloud environments.

  • Linux Fleet Automation

    Standardizing Linux infrastructure with Puppet-based open-source automation platform called LinuxAid and allied tool called linuxaid-cli to handle updates, system hardening, and day-2 operations.

  • Observability and Incident Response

    Building and operating monitoring, logging, alerting, and on-call workflows with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch, Graylog, Fluent Bit and RCA-driven operations.

  • Secure Infrastructure

    Delivering IAM, vulnerability management, bare-metal provisioning, and networked infrastructure using Keycloak, OpenVAS, Kyverno, Trivy, NetBird, Redfish, Metal3, and Ironic across different environments.
